A few (of many) precious words of the Lord Jesus Christ:

“...the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Mark 2:17

...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Disclaimer / Statement of Faith

Please be informed that I, an Englishman and a Covenanter (also known as Covenanted Presbyterian), come from a Reformed Baptist background. Therefore, on this site you may encounter various resources or links from Reformed Baptist (or other) sources (such as Richard Bennett’s material listed above, or elsewhere from the Metropolitan Tabernacle, or others).

I list these resources as they are generally very helpful on specific topics, but please be aware that I can only fully endorse any resource, person or Preacher/Ministry, listed on or through links on this website inasmuch as it, or they, are in agreement with the Holy Bible. Please see the Terms of Communion of the Reformed Presbytery in North America (General Meeting), aka RPNA-GM, which gives details of the confessional standards I subscribe to.

Whilst these subordinate standards cannot protect against every heresy that may exist or arise to trouble the church, they do provide a very high and detailed threshold of explicitly stated Bible doctrine that certainly protects against the most prevalent heresies in the world and church to date. Of course, God’s Word, the Holy Bible, is the supreme standard of faith and practice, and is sufficient to define all revealed truth, and to combat every heresy that has or will ever arise (Psa 119:128, Isa 49:2, 1Th 2:13, 2Tim 3:16-17, Eph 6:17, Heb 4:12, 1Pet 1:23, Rev 1:16, Rev 22:18-19). Thank you for reading.

Thank you for visiting the web page. May The LORD bless you. Please do check back periodically as I hope to add more.

Important corrections to "What is your hope?" leaflet (December 2018)

If you have received a leaflet entitled What is your hope? (during the latter part of 2018),
I must point out the following mistakes:

1) Incorrect statement that, "The Church of England was biblically and legally reformed in 1643", and

2) Incorrect statement that, "The Church of England swore to biblical and legal reformation in 1643"

Rev. Greg L. Price has kindly pointed out that the above information is inaccurate, because many of the changes ecclesiastically in England at that time were administered by the Westminster Assembly (since there was not a National Synod for the Church of England). Moreover, rather than there being a National Assembly of the Church of England, much of the practical application of Presbyterianism was administered by 12 presbyteries in and around the confines of London (that were organized as the London Provincial Assembly) and then efforts were being made to stretch out to other regions of England from London (but these efforts were brought to an end by Cromwell).

The prelacy of the Church of England was clearly abolished by Parliament in 1642 and subsequently sworn to be extirpated in the SL&C (1643), but what was established in its place was implemented gradually until the year 1658 (shortly after Cromwell's death and before the restoration of Charles II) when the Church of England was officially established as a Presbyterian Church.

Important corrections to old leaflet (pre-October 2011)

If you have received a leaflet entitled What Must I Do To Be Saved? (received prior to October 2011), I must point out the following mistakes:

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" (The correct Bible reference is: Romans 3:10, not Romans 3:23 as printed in the old leaflet)

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (The correct Bible reference is: 1 John 5:7, not 1 John 3:15 as printed in the old leaflet)

My sincere apologies for these mistakes, which are entirely my fault for failing to proof-read thoroughly. I have now corrected the leaflets and reprinted. If you would like one or more, please E-mail me.
